Pre-Teen Portrait Program

Pre-Teen PortraitsTween Photography

It is so difficult to find pictures of myself as tween. Flipping through the pages of our plastic photo album, I can locate only 5 photos of me AT ALL during my pre-teen years. One of those pictures is a traditional school photo. You know the one – that head and shoulders pose with the cheesy grin. My hair isn’t brushed through, my braces are shining, and my pimples are just starting to bud – ahhh sweet innocence.

Babies are so cute, new and chubby and toddlers have those big, bright eyes and are always doing something funny you can’t wait to take a picture of.  But those tween ages are often forgotten. At ages 10-12, kids aren’t children anymore, but aren’t quite teens either.  Senior pictures are a long ways out.

Over the past 5 years, I have developed a passion for legacy.  I have just one beloved photo of my mom when she was about 10 (and then a few more when she was a senior in high school).  My kids love looking through my family history albums with me and seeing who their grandparents were.  The similarities between my daughter, Aria, and my mom is unreal. I believe strongly that beautiful, printed pictures will be cherished and passed on for GENERATIONS.  I’m making it my personal mission to capture those lost preteen years, but that’s not the only purpose driving this mission:  during this session, we will not only capture who they are, but will also help them feel beautiful and have unshakable confidence in themselves when they hit middle school.

In comes the “Who I Am” project.

We are starting this program to fill in the forgotten photo years while also enriching the lives of pre-teens. The main goal is to make pre-teens look and feel beautiful and be confident in who they are.

Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for guys and girls ages 10-12.  We will ask the pre-teen and their parents a few fun questions, then combine the text and photos to create one impactful piece of art.

Why “Who I Am?”

We want to capture the personality of the tweens and record the last stage of their childhood before they become young men and women. We want them to realize their true beauty and worth so that they are confident in themselves before they hit Middle School. Imagine the impact a single beautiful image can do for your tween’s self-image.

How to participate or nominate a friend:

Please email us by January 28th if you are interested in having your child participate in this project, or if you would like to nominate a friend or family member that you think would be perfect for this. Please nominate people you think would enjoy the boutique experience we provide. For the next month only as we begin this program, the in-studio session itself is complimentary and includes $50 in product credit (a total value of $250). Our goal is to create a gorgeous group of photos you’ll love and that truly show your child’s spirit and soul! Our portrait collections start at $450

After you email us, we will send you specific details and get you booked in!

  1. I would like more information…
Especially about pricing AND if you offer any ways to lower the pricing, like IF I get 5 friends to do it, my daughter’s session is reduced or free. 🙂

    1. Portrait packages range in price from $450 – $1200.
I don’t offer free sessions for referrals, but instead hope to give you such a memorable experience, that you can’t wait to share!
If you sign up by the end of January, the session fee (normally $150) is free, however, PLUS you get $50 to put toward your portrait package.

Thank you for the inquiry and let me know if you would like to book one of the memorable experiences for your tween!
