Mountain Senior Portraits

Senior Portrait Photographer Boulder Colorado

Being a Senior Portrait Photographer in Boulder Colorado is an amazing experience.  I don’t get to photograph high school seniors in Boulder very often, so when I do, a little happy dance quickly ensues.  Now, Boulder isn’t the easiest place to take pictures of people – they can be quite particular, requiring permits to shoot in the most innocent looking parks (like Chataqua, and just mountain drives), but when you find a good, safe spot, the truly-Colorado photos that happen are magical.

Last week, we had Sara, who lives in Boulder.  She wanted beautiful Flatirons mountain shots.  We found a gorgeous, unexpected spot, and had a ball taking the most stunning golden hour senior portraits Colorado has to offer. We started in the studio, which is in Erie, Colorado, with professional hair and make-up.  After a few sets in the studio with studio lighting and totally unique backdrops that the studio is equipped with, we headed to a field and old barn, and finished up in the foothills of Boulder.  Take a look at just a handful of the incredible 70+ image set of photos that we got! It is such a joy to photograph LIGHTS in the world like Sara is.  Her warm personality shined through with ease.  She just literally put me in a good mood for the whole week.

Here are Sara’s senior portraits in Erie Colorado, and also her senior portraits in Boulder Colorado.
